Kate Moss

Kate Moss is a world known model and has had campaigns with designers from all over the world including Yves Saint Laurent, Dior, Rimmel, Burberry and Bulgari. She has appeared in the pages of Vogue editions, Vanity Fair, Another Man, the Face and W. She has also been on the cover for 17 issues of W including an issue that had nine different covers that featured the model.

In 1997, Kate Moss published a book called `Kate: The Kate Moss Book, which contains photos that she selected to represent her career.

In 2005, a nude portrait of her that pictured her pregnant and was done by Lucian Freud sold for £3.93 million.

Sarah Doukas, who is the founder of Storm Model Management, first discovered Kate Moss in 1988 when she was 14 years old.

When she was 16, she was photographed for The Face.

Moss actually became the anti-model during the 1990s, as she was a contrast to the models that were around then including Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell.

In 1993, she brought in heroin chic which then led to speculation over her weight when she appeared in ad campaign for Calvin Klein.

Kate Moss has appeared in ad campaigns for Gucci, Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, Rimmel, Chanel and Bulgari. She has also appeared in numerous magazines including French Vogue, British Vogue, US Vogue, Vanity Fair and others.

She has been on the cover of British Vogue 30 times as well as appearing on the covers of plenty of other international magazines.

In 2005 she won the Vogue/CFDA award from the Fashion Designers of America as Fashion Inspiration. Also in 2005, the Rimmel London mascara TV ad campaign launched which featured Moss in leather motorcycling through London.

A year after the cocaine scandal, Kate Moss signed 18 contracts for 2006 autumn/winter which included contracts with Agent Provocatcur, Rimmel, Calvin Klein, Virgin Mobile and Burberry.

She went on to design a collection with Katy England for Topshop.

In 2007, Kate Moss with Coty launched a fragrance and body lotion range.

In 2007 on the 1st May clothes that were designed by Moss were launched in Topshop.

The clothing line included bags, clothes, shoes and belts.

In early 2010, Kate Moss designed handbags for Longchamp.

In 2011, she became the face for Mango.

In 2012, she modeled for the Supreme collection. She also appeared in the video for George Michael's White Light and she also performed with Naomi Campbell in the closing ceremony for the 2012 Olympic Games.

For the 60th anniversary edition of Playboy in 2013, Kate Moss posed nude. She also received a Special Recognition reward for the British Fashion Awards in recognition of her 25 year career.

In 2014, her second collection for Topshop was unveiled and is being sold in 40 countries.
