Karolin Wolter has been a successful runway model for a few years now and has walked for designers like Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Jacobs and Lanvin.
She began her modeling in 2008 by sending some snapshots to agencies in Hamburg. She then decided to sign with m4 Models. Two months after she signed she moved to New York and that’s where her career took off.
Karolin Wolter has signed with Stockholmsgruppen Stockholm, m4 models Hamburg, 2pm Model Management Copenhagen, Uno Models Barcelona, Next London, Next Milan, Next Paris and Next New York. Her mother agency is m4 models in Hamburg.
In 2008, Karolin Wolter signed with Supreme Management.
In 2009, she appeared in an editorial for Tush that was photographed by Felix Lammers and an editorial for Wonderland and Chinese Vogue.
She made her big debut in 2009 by walking in the fall shows for BCBG Max Azria in New York. She also walked for Preen, Alexander Wang, Marc Jacobs, Jonathan Saunders and Rag & Bone.
She open and closed the shows for Kai Kuhne and Jaeger for the fall in New York and London. In Milan she opened for Jil Sander and also walked for Marni, Moschino, D&G and MaxMara. In Paris she walked the fall shows for Kenzo, Dries van Noten, Valentino, Nina Ricci and Yves Saint Laurent.
Also in 2009, Karolin Wolter modeled for the Neiman Marcus catalog, appeared in editorials for British Vogue and Japanese Vogue, she did an editorial for i-D that was photographed by Magnus Unnar, she appeared in a Russian Vogue editorial that was photographed by Miguel Reveriego, she walked for Givenchy for the fall show in Paris, she was featured in editorials for Numero and Harper’s Bazaar and she closed the spring shows in New York and London for Rag & Bone, Roksanda Ilincic, Matthew Williamson and Twenty8Twelve.
In 2010, Karolin Wolter left Supreme Management and went onto sign with Ford Models. She went on to appear in an editorial for Tush that was photographed by Armin Morbach, she walked the fall shows for Badgley Mischka, Doo Ri, Y-3, Paul Smith, Matthew Williamson and Roksanda Ilincic in New York and London and in September 2010 she decided to skip fashion week.
In 2011, she appeared in an editorial for Spanish Vogue that was photographed by Michelle Ferrera and was also in an editorial for Elle that was photographed by Giampaolo Sgura.
In 2014, she walked shows for Dior, Lanvin, Dries van Noten, Marni, Paul Smith and more. Her editorials included Dazed & Confused, The Last Magazine and W Magazine. More recently in 2015, Karolin Wolter walked for Hermes, Acne, Dries van Noten, Anthony Vaccaretto and Various Shows. She has also been part of ad campaigns for Neil Barrett, Joseph and Alexander McQueen and appeared in editorials for i-D, Vogue Paris, America and Britain.
