Julia Saner was born in 1992 and is a fashion model from Switzerland. In 2006, she was given her first international success, but not as a model but as a tap dancer at the Junior World champion in the Junior Small Group.
In 2009 she was named as the winner of the Elite Model Look Switzerland, which then allowed her to qualify for the world final of Elite Model Look a competition that is held by Elite Model Management.
She was then announced as the winner of the World Finals. She received a modeling contract.
She then went on to walk at the Milan Fashion Week for Gucci and walked for Chanel in Paris.
Julia Saner has signed with Elite Stockholm, Model Management Hamburg, Elie Copenhagen, Elite Barcelona, Elite London and Elite Paris.
In 2009, Julia Saner won the Elite Model Look in Switzerland and then signed with Elite Paris.
Her debut came in 2010 when she walked for Gucci at the spring show in Milan. She also walked for Fendi, Moschino, D&G, Roberto Cavalli, MaxMara and Salvatore Ferrgarno.
In Paris she walked the spring shows for Valentino, Alexander McQueen, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Chanel and Louis Vuitton.
In 2011, Julia Saner closed the spring show for Valentino in Paris and also walked for Jean Paul Gaultier, Chanel, Christian Dior and Elie Saab.
In 2011, Julia Saner became the face for Valentino.
Other highlights of her career in 2011 include closing the show for the fall Christian Dior in Paris, she was in an editorial for Numero and Vogue, she was on the cover for Marie Claire Italy that was photographed by Max Cardelli, she was in editorials for Italian Vogue and W, she also appeared in the German Vogue editorial that was photographed by Greg Kadel, she was also in an editorial for Japanese Vogue that was photographed by Ben Weller, she appeared for the fall ad campaigns for Mulberry, Karen Millen and Prabal Gurung, she was photographed by Daniel Jackson for an editorial for Harper’s Bazaar and was also in an editorial for Italian Vogue that was photographed by Solve Sundsbo.
In 2012, Julia Saner modeled for the DKNY resort ad campaign.
She has though left modeling behind. She has decided to focus on her photography and her studies. She currently studies Media Studies.
However, you never know if she may make a return to modeling in the future, but at the moment this doesn’t seem likely, as she has not modeled for the past few years.
