Jayne Moore is a professional fashion model. She was born in the small town of Fleet, in rural Hampshire, in Southeast England. She currently lives in New York City.
She was first discovered while working her weekend job at a hair salon in Fleet. She was sixteen at the time. Her boss, hair color specialist Andrea Zuccaro, brought her to London for the L'oreal Color Trophy. While there she was scouted. She was apprehensive about the opportunity until she was brought to Select Model Management in London. She was signed by IMG models in 2009, and is currently represented by them for all jobs around the world.
Moore spent the majority of the early years of her career working in London, Paris and Milan. She walked the runway for Armani, Gucci and Eley Kishimoto. She also shot editorials for Glamour, Marie Claire, Elle, Wallpaper and Cosmopolitan among other magazines.
At age nineteen she discovered New York for the first time while shooting a campaign for DKNY and fell in love with the city. She has since been quoted as referring to New York City as her “greatest love” and lives in NYC whenever she is not traveling for work.
Moore created a buzz after shooting a campaign for Agent Provocateur, at that time an up-and-coming British label without much following. She then returned to New York and booked the launch of Gilly Hicks lingerie (part of the Abercrombie & Fitch Company) and a Calvin Klein underwear advert. She refers to this time of her life as the period where her career began to take off.
Moore has worked with a myriad of photographers including Bruce Weber, Annie Lebovitz, Tesh, Pamela Hanson, Dean Isidro and Ellen Von Unwerth.
Moore has longstanding relationships with Saks Fifth Avenue, CK, Macy's, Bloomingdale's and Garnier. She has had great success creating collaborations with both brands and photographers to open new career opportunities. IMG has even labeled her as “the total package”.
