In the world of fashion Jade Parfitt is well known. She was born in London, but at the age of 14 she had moved to Devon.
When Jade Parfitt was 15 years old her mother decided to enter her into a modeling competition on the television show “This Morning”. She won the competition and this gave birth to a contract with MODELS1.
During her A-Levels, Jade worked along famed photographers that included David Sims, Craig McDean and Steven Meisel.
In 1995, Jade did her first runway show for Prada. This was soon followed by runway shows with Chanel, Alexander McQueen and Christian Dior.
Not only was she a hit on the runway, she also did campaigns for Givenchy, Jean Paul Gaultier, Versace and many more.
Jade Parfitt and her friend Jasmine Guinness began a charity in 2000, which was called clothesline. The charity benefitted the sufferers of HIV and AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The two models used their contacts in the fashion world to host events where donated items were auctioned off to high profile guests.
The debut of Jade Parfitt on VogueTV sent her to New York where she attended the Superhero themed MET Ball. Here she was able to interview top stars like Julia Roberts, Zac Posen and Cat Deely on the red carpet.

In 1993, Jade actually began to model locally.
In 1997 she walked don the runways for the fall season for Miu Miu, alexander McQueen, Betsey Johnson and Carolina Herrera in Milan, New York and Paris.
In 1998 she was photographed twice by Steven Meisel. Once for the fall Versace ad campaign and the other was for the cover of Italian Vogue.
In 2001, Jade was the face for the Blumarine fall ad campaign.
2002 was a busy year for Jade as she was the face of Moschino, she appeared on the cover of British Vogue along with other British top models, she was also on the cover of British Harper’s and Queen with her good friends Erin O’Connor and Karen Elson and then later in the year she walked for the spring shows for Ann Demeulemeester, Jean Paul Gaultier and Issey Miyake in Paris.
In 2003, Jade was the face for Jean Paul Gautier’s spring ad campaign. In 2003 she also created the charity project, Clothesline with her friends Zeta Lloyd and Jasmine Guinness for Research in HIV in Africa.
In 2004 she became the face of Caroline Herrera Parfum and walked for the spring shows of Hermes, Martin Grant, Jean Paul Gaultier and Rick Owens in Paris.
In 2009 she signed over to Women Management. She still passionately advocates her charity.
