Camila Finn is known for winning the Ford Supermodel of the Year award in 2005. That victory brought her a $250000 award. This has happened only three years after she was discovered and one year after she moved to New York in order to work as a fashion model. She went shopping with her mother one day and Malu Ornelas, a photographer working for the model agency called Ford Models, saw her and proposed her a deal. That day changed her life and her debut at the spring Calvin Klein show in New York, as an exclusive proved that she was worth it. Career
Not much has happened for Camila Finn between 2002 and 2005, except making her debut and winning the Ford Supermodel of the Year award. However, at the end of 2005, she walks the spring for a Gucci show in Milan and collaborates with Benetton. Together with Heather Marks, Finn begins 2006 as one of the faces of Emporio Armani. She continues the year by signing a fragrance contract with Hermes and by appearing in the Calvin Klein fall ad campaign. DKNY and Harper's Bazaar publish editorial with her. In 2007, she goes back and forth between Paris and New York to star in Valentino and Ralph Lauren shows. Among her magazine appearances is a Vanity Fair editorial. In 2008, she doesn't travel to Paris for work, but she travels to Milan. Walking for Betsey Johnson, Diane von Furstenberg, Vera Wang Lavender Label and Emporio Armani shows are her year's highlights.
Camila Finn has also pursued a career in acting. Her debut as an actress took place in 2008, for “HojeemDia”, which is a Brazilian TV series meant for the whole family to watch. She played herself and appeared in only one episode. Her second movie project is called “DES”, in which she has the role of a fashion model looking for jobs. This short movie was released on September 13, 2012.
