Vogue Netherlands did an interview with Annemijn Dijs asking her questions about her modeling career and where she hopes it is headed. Unfortunately, the interview is not offered in English. However, she was also interviewed by another magazine, which is available in English. From this it was learned that she was born in Rotterdam and she is only been in the industry for a few short years. The interview was conducted in 2013 when she was considered a newcomer. She started modeling at 17, at least full time. Prior to 17 she did a few tests and a little work, but didn't want to miss out on school. Her mother agency was actually new when she signed on so she was one of the first to be signed with Dune. One of her biggest moments in modeling at the time of the interview was being able to travel to Australia for fashion week. She stated that Sydney was very surprising because most of what she had watched about the country were BBC shows about its nature. She enjoyed working on the runway particularly because it was such a high profile gig. She wore many of the top brands like Alex Perry, Manning Cartell, Easton Pearson, and Bec and Bridge. She was also walking it with many of the top Australian models, which was exciting to Dijs. She did say in the interview that she didn't feel like she was a bombshell, but she also didn't have trouble feeling beautiful. She was sensitive to being taller than boys in her class at a young age though. Annemijin Dijs is mostly known for her modeling work in editorials and publications. She has worked for Bon, Elle Italia, GlamIt, I Love Fake, Lumiere, Numero, and Purple Fashion magazines.
Annemijn is signed with Dune Agency for her mother agency, but also does work with IMG Models Paris, London Milan, and Sydney. She also signed with UNO Models Barcelona and Madrid.
Annemijn Dijs is credited with three fashion shows for 2015. She has appeared in the spring/summer Paris show wearing Alexis Mabile. She also walked the fall/winter show for the same designer. The other fashion show was the fall and winter New York fashion show for the Row. In 2014, she was in fashion shows and editorials. Both in May and August she appeared in the Ones 2 Watch editorials. She walked for the New York, Paris, London, and Milan fall/winter shows. During these various shows she wore brands from Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang, Celine, Maison Martin Margiela, Jonathan Saunders, Alexander McQueen, Missoni, and Aquilano. For the moment Dijs is not credited with any magazine covers; however, she has been in a few lookbooks. She was in the Oscar de la Renta 2015 lookbook that was published in May 2014. She was also in the Kowtow Lookbook spring/summer 2014 show for various designers. For this book she was photographed by Ryan Yoon.
