Anna Barsukova, is a Russian model. Born in the Siberian town of Tomsk, this 5’10” blonde beauty has walked for a number of international labels as well as appeared in several magazines.
Barsukova debuted in 2005 for the fall Nicole Farhi runway shows in London. This was followed by a print undergarment campaign for Dolce & Gabbana and an appearance in Teen Vogue in 2006. In September 2006 she appeared in the Philip Lim, Marc Jacob’s and Rocco Barocco shows in New York and in November of the same year she appeared in a feature in V magazine entitled “Supreme World”, about the Supreme modeling agency.
Barsukova had an exceptionally busy year in 2007, starting by closing the fall Marc Jacobs show and opening the Brian Reyes show in February in New York City. She also modeled for the McQ by Alexander McQueen spring catalog, was featured in an editorial in W, opened the Calvin Klein resort show in New York, closed the spring Julien Macdonald show in London, and also closed the Botteha Veneta show in Milan. To close the year she appeared in a Teen Vogue editorial shot by Thomas Schenk.
In 2008 Barsukova walked for a number of labels, including Chanel, Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, John Galliano, Marc Jacobs, Valentino and Vera Wang. She also appeared in a Marie Claire editorial.
She is represented by Russian modeling agency, Rush Models.
Barsukova is also to founder of Organic Religion. A Russian company promoting organic juices for the purposes of increased health and detox programs.
