Anmari Botha entered the fashion scene in 2010 with her first runway show: NZ Fashion Week. At this time she signed a deal with Red Eleven, a local agency; however, a deal with IMG quickly followed allowing Ms. Botha to move to Paris to work for Givenchy and other designers. She had numerous shoots for Vogue Italia and CR Fashion Book.
Ms. Botha's passion is as a model, painter and traveler. She is currently based in New York where she has increased her modeling work to include appearances in the Christian Dior Cruise 2015 show among others. Since starting as a model she has appeared in the last eight Dior shows as well as the couture Dior show in Hong Kong.
Anmari Botha is very passionate about her painting and she has recently talked to media about taking a break from modeling in order to pursue her painting by taking courses at Elam. She has also told media that she loves to travel and staying in a place more than two weeks can be difficult because she's ready to head out again.
The most exciting experience she has had modeling was for the Haider Ackermann show in September 2014 because she traveled to Colombia. It was a culture shock, but also “super fun” according to her interview.
Her Painting Enthusiasm
