She has been featured in numerous runway shows, most recently the Acne fall/winter 2014 show, Christopher Kane’s spring/summer 2015 show, and the Marni fall/winter 2015 collection. She was particularly active as a runway model between 1999 and 2005, appearing in campaigns for such notable designers as Helmut Lang, Kenzo, Paul Smith, Hugo Boss, DKNY, Dries Van Noten, Louis Vuitton, Vivienne Westwood, Boyd, and Rafael Lopez. Ad campaigns she has worked on include: Calvin Klein, Issey Miyake, Adidas by Stella McCartney (2014), Swarovski (2006), and Lejaby (2006). Solari has also done ads for Olay Colour, Vera Wang, Esprit, Calvin Klein eyewear, Burberry, Armani, and Breitling, making her as sought after off the runway as she was when walking the catwalk for fashion shows.

She has been photographed by noted fashion photographers such as: Steven Meisel, Mario Testino, Craig McDean, Bruce Weber, Paolo Roversi, Inez and Vinoodh, and Nick Knight. Her first shoot after returning to work after a break in 2013 was for Vogue Paris by Mert and Marcus. Solari has appeared on the cover of Rika (fall/winter 2014), Twin Magazine (spring/summer 2014), L’Officiel France (2005), Glamour (2004), Vogue Australia (2002), Numéro (December-January 2000), Vogue Germany (March 2003), Amica (2001), and Marie Claire Italy (2000), among others. Her recent 2014 appearance in the 10th anniversary issue of Twin magazine was also lauded as a career highlight. Editorials featuring Solari include British Vogue’s “Hit Reset” (July 2014) and “Clean Slate” (February 2015), and Interview Magazine’s “Structure Undone” (April 2014), which showcases Solari in black and white photography by Josh Olins with layered pieces and stark contrasts between light and dark and masculine and feminine clothing. She was styled for the shoot by Ludivine Poiblanc. Other editorials include Pop Magazine’s “Armani 80” (fall/winter 2014), Purple Fashion’s “Vivien” (spring 2014), Numéro’s “Oiseau de nuit” (November 2014), Twin Magazine’s “Battle Star” (spring/summer 2014), Vogue Russia’s “Black Mark” (October 2014), Vogue Paris’s “La Vie de Chateau” (March 2014), Another Magazine’s “Another Magazine” (fall/winter 2013), and Vogue Paris’s “La fievre Grunge” (September 2013). Earlier in her career, Solari also shot editorials for Vogue Japan, Vogue Italia, and Vogue Germany.

She was born in Aruba but grew up in Manchester, where she was discovered at age 19 while studying Psychology at Leicester University. After receiving a modeling contract, Solari put her studies on hold to pursue modeling full time. Solari is now one of the most sought after faces in the fashion industry because of her versatile style and fresh look, and is in demand both for commercial work and for high fashion designers. After a four-year break from modeling to be with her 3 children, Solari returned to work in 2013 and remains an active presence in the fashion world. Although she has taken some time away from modeling, her career shows no signs of slowing down now that she is back in front of the camera, as her many recent magazine and runway appearances have shown.

Agencies Solari works with are: IMG in New York and Paris, TESS Management in London, and d’management group in Milan. Her mother agency is TESS Management.
