Sung Hee Kim, also known as Sung Hee (b. February 21, 1990), is a South Korean model. She was discovered by a modeling agent while shopping in Apujong in 2009, and has been working steadily ever since. She notably appeared in Vogue Korea’s March 2015 photo spread “Romantic Warrior,” which featured Sung Hee in a variety of dramatic looks and high-contrast settings. She has been featured in the Dries Van Noten, Kenzo, and Hermes fall/winter 2015 shows. In 2013, she appeared in runway shows for Zero + Maria Cornejo, Tess Giberson, and Tracy Reese. Sung Hee also had a prominent role in Helmut Lang’s fall/winter 2013 show and in MAC’s 2014 advertising campaign. Recent magazine covers she appeared on include Numéro China, Elle Vietnam, Icon Singapore, and the UK’s Dazed and Confused in 2013. Her recent advertising credits include 2014’s Miu Miu campaign and 2013 ads for Prada, Etro, and Dennis Basso. She has also represented United Colors of Benetton, and she appeared in several Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar editorials between 2012 and 2014, including the bold and attention-getting piece “Oriental Exstasy,” which featured Sung Hee in eccentric black and gold makeup.
Her main agency is the Seoul-based ESteem Models, but she also works with Wilhelmina in New York, Scoop Models in Copenhagen, Nomad Management, IMG Models Paris, and Monster Management in Milan.
Sung Hee describes her personal style as, “Not too classic, not too funky, not too vintage – It's just me and what I feel!” This versatility allows her to represent multiple designers, making her one of the busiest models working today, and demand for her services has steadily increased in the several years she has been modeling. She is very focused on her career, and hopes to become even more successful at modeling in the future. Fashion houses Sung Hee has represented in 2014-2015 include: Christian Dior Haute Couture, Roberto Cavalli, Burberry, Elie Saab, Dolce & Gabbana, and Chanel.
