In 2009 Romee Strijd was discovered and she modeled locally.

In 2011 she signed with DNA, she opened and closed the spring show for Christopher Kane and also walked for Burberry, she walked the spring shows for Jil Sander and Prada in Milan and she walked the spring shows for Yves Saint Laurent, Celine, Nina Ricci, Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen and Balmain in Paris.

In 2012 she was part of ad campaigns for H&M and Marchesa, she appeared in editorials for Harper’s Bazaar Spain, Love Magazine, Vogue Netherlands, Ponystep Magazine, Grey Magazine, Madame Figaro and British Vogue, she was on the cover of Vogue Netherlands and walked for Sophie Theallet, Badgley Mischka, DKNY, Jill Stuart, Kenzo, Alexander McQueen, Pedro Lourenco, Rochas, Giles, Marchesa, Michael Kors, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Peter Som, Donna Karan, Edun, Prabal Gurung and Rag & Bone.

In 2014 she walked for Victoria’s Secret and was part of an ad campaign for Giuseppe Zanotti.

More recently in 2015 Romee Strijd appeared in an ad campaign for Juicy Couture, she was in editorials for Vogue Espana, Vogue Paris and vogue.com and walked for Moschino, Chanel, Emanuel Ungaro, Isabel Marant, Barbara Bui, H&M, Dsquared2, Philosophy and Jeremy Scott.

Her look books include the 2012 look book for Donna Karan and the 2015 look book for Tomas Maier.
