In 2009 Nicolas Ripoll made his debut in Milan when he opened and closed the show for Prada as an exclusive. He also appeared in the spring issue of Arena Homme+, he walked the spring shows for Givenchy, Dries Van Noten, Lanvin, Raf Simons, Hermes and Kenzo in Paris, he appeared in editorials for Dazed & Confused and i-D and was on the cover of Citizen K for the winter issue.

In 2010 he became the face for Sisley, he closed the fall show in Milan for Jil Sander and also walked for Roberto Cavalli, Gianfranco Ferre, Yves Saint Laurent and Versace, he appeared in an editorial for Wallpaper, he was in an editorial for Velvet, he was in the spring issue of Vogue Hommes Japan, he was on the cover of German FHM Collections spring edition and he walked the spring shows for Hermes, dolce & Gabbana, Dior Homme, Prada, Kenzo, Dries Van Noten and Raf Simons in Paris and Milan.

In 2011 he walked the fall shows for Prada, Versace and Dolce & Gabbana in Milan; he appeared in an editorial for Vogue Hommes International and modeled the fall ad campaign for Bottega Veneta.
