Nadja Auermann

Nadja Auermann, born on 19th March 1971, is a German model and actress. A great fashion designer named Valentino once commented on her physical resemblance to the famous Marlene Dietrich. Guy Trebay, a fashion columnist at New York Times wrote of her ice maiden visage together with her legs which resemble those of a pole vaulter. She holds a world record for being the model with the longest legs in the Guinness book of record.

In 1990, Auermann arrived in Paris and signed with Karin Modeling Agency in the same year. In 1991, she moved to Elite Management. Auerman then appeared on the cover of Vogue Paris and in Benetton clothing advertisements. After appearing in two magazines; Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, Auermann achieved a triumph equal to winning two legs of Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing.

She has modeled for Versace and appeared in their classic advertisement photo in a mini skirt alongside, Claudia Schiffer, Kristen McMenanmy, Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, and Stephanie Seymour, shot by Richard Avedon. She has also appeared in different campaigns for various brands including Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, Dolce & Gabbana, Christian Dior, Hermes, Giorgio Armani, and Valentino. Also, she has appeared in more than 100 covers worldwide.

In 1997, Auerman delivered her first child, a daughter called Cosima with Olaf Bjorn. Two years later she got married to Wolfram Grandezka, a German actor. The couple got their first son, Nicholas, the same year, and a divorce came a few years later.

Previously, Auermann launched her perfume, “Nadja Auermann” and begun her acting career in 2004 having been in two famous language films: Dornröschens Leiser Tod (2004) and Letztes Kapitel (2005). She enjoys most of her holidays in the spa town of Heiligendamm, on Germany's Baltic coast.
