Lydia Hearst is an American model, actress and heiress to a publishing fortune. She was discovered in 2003 by the fashion photographer Steven Meisel.
Lydia Hearst has signed with DT Model Management Los Angeles, Modellink Gothenburg, Elite Barcelona, d’management group Milan and City Models Paris. Her mother agency is DT Model Management in Los Angeles.
In 2003 Lydia Hearst made her debut when she walked the fall New York Fashion Week for Zang Toi and she dated Oliver Hammond.
In 2004 Lydia Hearst appeared on the cover of Vogue Italy, she was photographed by Louis Vuitton and she was photographed for Prada.
In 2005 Lydia Hearst became one of the faces of Moschino alongside Lisa Cant and Vlada Roslyakova.
In 2006 she appeared on the cover of Nylon, she dated Justin Bartha, she appeared in the spring ad campaign for Bottega Veneta, she signed a contract with Clinique cosmetics and she became the face of MAC’s fall ad campaign.
In 2007 she organized a charity auction that would donate money to the Darfur cause, she appeared in print ads for Roberto Cavalli for H&M, she helped to design a purse with Puma that was called the Puma Lydia bag, she then modeled the Puma Lydia bag at the Heatherette show at the New York Fashion Week, she modeled a new clothing line by Tyson Ritter, she appeared in ad campaigns for Lord & Taylor and she signed a cosmetics contract with NARS.
In 2008 she dated Joe Barney, she renewed her contract with NARS cosmetics, she became the face for the new Escada fragrance, she left 1 Model Management and signed with Elite Models, she was photographed for Self Service, she was on the cover of Elle Germany and she was on the cover of GQ and Playboy France.
In 2010 she appeared in Lula that was photographed by Federike Helwig and she appeared in editorials for Vogue Russia and British Harper’s Bazaar.
