Linda Evangelista has also been called the chameleon of the fashion world and from the 1980s to the 1990s she was one of the most famous women in the fashion world. In 1998 Linda Evangelista retired from modeling and three years later she made a return but only worked randomly.

In 1987 she married Gerald Marie the Elite executive and she was on the cover of French Vogue.

In 1988 she cut her hair into a short crop and was then cancelled from all important runway shows for that season and within a few short months many women began to copy the hairstyle.
