In 1985, Kristen McMenamy got her first ad campaign for Jil Sander and Gerard Darel.

In 1991 she was given her first cover for Italian Vogue that was photographed by Steven Meisel. Also in 1991 she appeared in editorials for French Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, she became the face of Bally ad campaign for the fall, she was the face of Fendi’s fall ad campaign, she walked for Jean Paul Gaultier in Paris and she appeared in an editorial for French Vogue.

In 1992, Kristen McMenamy was the face for a spring ad campaign for Chanel, she was on the cover of Italian Vogue, she was the face for the fall ad campaign for Versace and she was part of the Grunge and Glory Vogue editorial.

In 1993, Kristen McMenamy decided to shave her eyebrows off and this started a booking rush. She was on the cover for Harper’s Bazaar, she became the face of the spring Calvin Klein Collection ad campaign, she appeared in a spring ad campaign with Naomi Campbell for Versace, she was the face for the fall ad campaign for Karl Lagerfeld, she appeared in editorials for Vogue and Italian Vogue.

In 2014, she was on the cover of Under the Influence magazine; she appeared in editorials for Vogue Italia, Under the Influence and Vogue.com.
