Kirsten Owen is an English born Canadian model. She was scouted in Toronto and began modeling at the age of 16.

In 1987 she appeared on the cover for Elle Spain, Italy and France. It took two more years before Kirsten Owen got her big break in the fashion world when she was on the cover of French Marie Claire in 1989 and on the cover of i-D in 1990.

She then went on to walk Jil Sander, Prada, Chloe, Yohji Yamamoto, Dries Van Noten, Calvin Klein and others.
