At the age of 13, Kate King was already spotted when a stranger asked if she modeled.
She has always wanted to be on the runway, but she first completed her High School degree. At 17, she went for an interview with Elite Models Agency and was signed on the spot.
Kate King made her first debut by walking on the runway for Rag & Bone for the fall show in New York. She also walked for Proenza Schouler, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs and Alexander Wang. She was then immediately booked for Milan Fashion Week.
She was also part of Paris Fashion Week and walked for Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton and Nina Ricci.
The next season she opened for Cynthia Rowley and Chloe in New York and Paris Fashion Week and also closed for Margaret Howell and Nicole Miller.
In 2011, Kate King was photographed for Love, I-D and Another Magazines. She was also photographed by Kacper Kasprzyk for Dazed & Confused.
