Julianna Imai, first contact with the model world was when she was 16 years old and she was involved in model contests. Her career began when she was 18 after she had finished high school. She then moved to Sao Paulo. She then participated in SPFW and Fashion Rio and was invited to New York. This is when she began to work with the big names in fashion.
She has modeled for Gucci, Giorgio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Christian Dior, Gianfranco Ferré, Betsy Johnson and Vivienne Westwood. Julianna Imai has also done work for the fashion lines from Jay-Z and Gwen Stefani.

In 2006, she became the face of Rocawear, was in an ad campaign for Ray-Ban, she was in the catalogues for Bloomingdale’s and Bergdorf Goodman, she walked the fall shows for Givenchy and Dries Van Noten in Paris, she was in an editorial for Brazilian Elle and was in the Brazilian Marie Clair that was photographed by Luis Crispino.
