+Julia Hafstrom is a professional fashion model. She was born in Malmo, Sweden on May 11, 1992. She is best known for her freckles, her hair and her pout. She is currently represented by the agency IMG.
+Hafstrom is frequently seen out on the social scene with model friends like Anna de Rijk, Elsa Sylvan, Dorothea Barth Jorgensen, Kendra Spears, Ymre Stiekema, Nicole Hofman, Ieva Laguna, Miles Garber.
+She first began to model locally in Sweden in 2007. A year later she signed with IMG, who represents her to this day. That same fall, Hafstrom was featured in the fall issue of Let Them Eat Cake. The spread was a great success and sparked an abundance of opportunities in 2009.
+First she was specifically requested by Steven Meisel. In June 2009, she debuted at the resort Prada show in New York. She also walked for Miu Miu in New York Fashion Week. The same month she was photographed alongside Anna de Rijk and Marcel Castenmiller by Steven Meisel for an editorial in Italian Vogue.
+A month later in July 2009, Hafstrom walked the Fall Valentino Couture show in Paris. In August 2009, she was photographed for the cover of Dazed & Confused by Terry Tsiolis. A 2009 highlight occurred when Hafstrom, photographed by Meisel, was named one of the faces of Prada.
+That Fall she walked in a variety of Spring Fashion Week shows including 3.1 Phillip Lim, Burberry, Jonathan Saunders and Missoni in Milan, New York and London.
+In January 2010, Hafstrom appeared in an editorial in Japanese Vogue. The editorial was photographed by Daniel Jackson. A month later in February 2010, she opened the Fall show for Roksanda Ilincic in London. Emma Summerton photographed her for the pre-spring issue of i-D magazine. Craig McDean photographed Hafstrom for a Fall advertising campaign for Tommy Hilfiger.
+In September of 2010, Hafstrom appeared again in Italian Vogue, an editorial which was shot by photographer Steve Hiett. The same month she also opened the Spring Vivienne Tam show at New York Fashion Week, as well as walking for Vivienne Westwood, Bill Blass, Catharine Malandrino and Marchesa. In November 2010, she appeared for a third time in an Italian Vogue editorial, this one shot by iconic photographer Ellen Von Unwerth. Hafstrom finished out December 2010, by appearing in the British Harper's Bazaar. She was featured in an editorial photographed by Jason Kibbler.
