In 2008, Julia Frauche began to model and in 2011 she signed with Next Models. She made her debut in 2011 when she walked the spring show for Jason Wu in New York. She also walked for Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana and Gucci.

Later in 2011, Julia Frauche walked for the spring show sin Paris for Givenchy, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Sonia Rykiel and Chloe. She also appeared in an editorial for Numero that was photographed by Liz Collins and was in an editorial for Vogue that was photographed by Mariano Vivianco.
