Josh Beech

Josh Beech is an English model, born in 1986 in South London.

Career

Beech was scouted in 2007 by model scout Sherrill Smith. In February 2008 Beech debuted at the fall Todd Lynn show in London, and quickly became one of the faces of Burberry. In April he appeared in his first editorial in i-D magazine, shot by Tom Giddings. In June he walked the spring Gaspard Yurkievich, Givenchy, Hermes, Kenzo, and Thierry Muglers shows in Paris, and appeared in a Dazed & Confused editorial, photographed by Mariano Vivanco. In August of the same year, Beech appeared in editorials for both Italian GQ and Italian Vogue. In September he appeared in an i-D editorial shot by Jourdan Dunn, and in December he appeared in another Dazed & Confused editorial, shot by Brett Lloyd. Beech also modelled for the Topman fall lookbook, appeared in the fall issue of New York Times’ T Style Magazine, appeared in the fall issue of Numero Homme and the fall issue of Italian GQ Style, in 2008.

In 2009 Beech was featured on the cover of Velvet Uomo, appeared in an editorial in Italian Vogue, and also appeared in an editorial in Velvet, shot by Takay.

Beech appeared in editorials in Chinese L’Officiel Hommes, shot by Milan Vukmirovic, as well as the spring issue of Numero Hommes in 2010. He also modelled for the fall H&M ad campaign.

Since then he has become the face of John Galliano, modeled for Just Cavalli, and appeared in Homme Style magazine.

Music Career

Beech is also an active touring and recording musician. He has spent the majority of his career to date as part of his band, Beech, however he will take a new musical career direction in 2015 by releasing his first solo recording and tour. His solo career will debut with folk-inspired songwriting.
