Josefine Nielsen
Josefine Nielsen is a Danish model, born in 1996.
Career
At the age of 15 Nielsen signes with Elite modelling agency and debuted at the spring Wayne and Rolando Santana shows in New York in September. She then flew across continents and continued on to walk the spring Meadham Kirchhoff, Christopher Kane, and Osman shows in London also in September. In October of the same year she walked the spring Alexander McQueen, and Celine shows in Paris.
In February 2012 Nielsen walked the fall Anna Sui, Tommy Hilfiger, and Derek Lam shows in New York. In March she walked for Kenzo and Vanessa Bruno at the Paris fall fashion week, and in April of the same year she appears in and editorial in Italian Vogue, photographed by Steven Meisel. In August 2012 Nielsen appeared in an editorial in the Danish Eurowoman.
In 2013 Nielsen appeared in an editorial for Danish Elle in February, the July issue of Elle, the September issue of British Elle, and in November 2013 she appeared in the November issue of Danish Eurowoman, styled by Gertrud Maria Bonnelykke and photographed by Katrine Rohrburg. She also appeared in a print ad campaign for Bruuns Bazaar glasses.
In 2014 she appeared in the spring/summer 2014 issue of Dansk magazine, photographed by Sune Czajkowski.
Nielsen is represented by Storm models in London, and Elite models in Copenhagen.
Personal Life
When not modelling, Nielsen studied international business and politics at Copenhagen business school.
She keeps in shape by running, swimming and working out with weights several times a week.
She resides in Copenhagen, Denmark.
