Josefin Hedstrom
Josefin Hedstrom is a Swedish model, born in 1991 in Vasta Frolunda, Sweden.
Career
Hedstrom was discovered at a model search in a shopping mall in Gothenburg. She was attending as morale support for her friend when she was approach by a model talent scout.
Hedstrom’s modeling career began in 2007 when she signed with both Why Not Milan and Elite Paris. In May of the same year she appeared on her first cover for L’Officiel. She debuted on the runway at the spring Antonio Marras and Blugirl by Blumarine shows in Milan, and later in 2007 she also signed with Ford Models in New York.
In 2008 Hedstrom became the face of the Blumarine cruise ad campaign, Hintmag.com features her as a rising star, she appeared in an editorials in Swedish Vogue and Swedish Elle, she becomes the face of Hogan for the spring ad campaign, and V Magazine features her as the model of the week. She also appears in the Benetton ad campaign. Hedstrom left Ford Model in 2009, and signed with the Marilyn Agency instead.
She has appeared in editorials and on the cover of a number on international magazines, including Ladies World, Modette, Elle, Italian Elle, Greek Elle, Greek Marie Claire and has walked during fashion weeks in Milan and Paris.
Personal Life
In a 2010 interview Hedstrom expressed an interest in furthering her education, but at the time she was unsure as to the direction a post-modeling career would take. She is also very interested in languages, and would like improve her French and Spanish language skills.
