Born in Barcelona, Spain in 1990, Joan Pedrola is a European male fashion model who is well known for his full lips and pout. Pedrola measures 6’1’’ in height, has brown hair, blue eyes and has measurements of 33 chest and 29 waist with a size 11 shoe.
Pedrola’s career in the fashion industry began by complete chance when he was stopped in the street after walking past an agency and persuaded by his now manager Eduardo to try his hand at modeling.
This scout’s instinct proved to be an impressive one, and Pedrola was signed with Major Model Management in 2009. His first major modeling job came shortly afterwards when he appeared in a resort D&G ad campaign shot by renowned photographer Mario Testino.
Pedrola clearly impressed the rest of industry with this engagement, as soon after he was selected to walk shows in Milan and Paris for Tim Hamilton, Theirry Mugler and Neil Barrett. Since then, Pedrola has continued to be a strong and prominent presence on the runway, walking in New York, Paris and Milan for a number of the most high profile designers and brands in the industry such as Rhichard Chai, Michael Kors, Michael Bastian, DKNY, Diesel, D&G, Dries Van Noten, Versace, Prada, Pringle Of Scotland, Roberto Cavalli, Kenzo, Issey Miyake and Ref Simons.
Alongside this great success on the runway, Pedrola has also been a regular presence in the print side of the fashion industry for the majority of his career. In 2009 he appeared in the fall issues of German FHM, Japanese Vogue, GQ Style and Hommes magazine, modeled for Mango as part of their fall ad campaign and featured in an editorial for V magazine with Hana Soukupova shot by Will Davidson. 2010 continued to be a successful time for Pedrola in many of the fashion world’s leading publications, and he featured in editorials for W magazine, Details magazine and GQ Taiwan as well as gracing the cover of 160 Grams in a feature shot by Eric Sposito.
Pedrola is currently at number 49 on MODELS.com’s featured lists of Top 50 Male Models in the industry.
