Jeneil Williams

Jeneil Williams is a professional fashion model. She was born in Kingston, Jamaica in 1990. Growing up, she was a budding track & field star and has remarked that if modeling had not been successful, she would have attempted a potential professional career in athletics.

She currently lives in New York City. She is best known in the industry for her legs and lips. She is represented by IMG Models in New York City and Premier Model Management in London. She is frequently seen on the social scene with model friends Sedene Blake, Nyasha Matonhodze and Gaye Mcdonald.

Her career kicked off in 2005 when she won a Caribbean Model Search. She signed with New York Models, her current agency, a year later in 2006. Also in 2006, she was photographed by David Sims in a campaign for United Colors of Benetton and modeled for a Bloomingdale's catalog.

In July 2008, she was featured as a promising newcomer in Italian Vogue. In February 2009, Williams opened the Fall/Winter Diesel show in New York City. The same season she also walked in shows for Richard Chai, L'Wren Scott and Zero + Maria Cornejo. One month later in March 2009, Williams walked in the Fall Lanvin show in Paris during Paris Fashion Week. She also opened the Paul Smith show in London.

2010 saw Williams photographed by Marcus Piggott and Mert Alas, a shoot whose spread included the spring cover of LOVE. Daniel Jackson photographed her for the Summer cover of i-D magazine. In February of that year, she opened the Fall Luca Luca show in New York City. She also closed the Sass & Bide show. In July, Terry Tsiolis shot Williams for an editorial in the Russian subsidiary of Vogue. That Fall she was featured on the cover of French Revue de Modes. This spread was photographed by Theirry Le Goues. In September she closed shows for Lanvin, Todd Lynn and Zero + Maria Cornejo in Paris, London and New York City. The same month Sharif Hamza photographed her for an editorial in Russian Vogue.

2011 saw another appearance on i-D, this one the pre-Spring cover photographed by Josh Olins. She also made a repeat performance in LOVE, its Spring issue, photographed by Solve Sundsbo. In May, Williams was featured in an editorial in Harper's Bazaar and an editorial in Italian Vogue.

2012 saw Williams showcased in a W editorial, photographed by Alasdair McLellan as well as an Elle editorial, photographed by Horst Diekgerdes.

In 2013 she was inducted into the Pulse hall of fame.
