In 2002, Jamie Bochert was noticed whilst she was working as a waitress in a Los Angeles restaurant. In March of 2002 she made her debut with walks for Ann
Demeulemeester in Paris. This then led to a cover for I-D, which is a British magazine.
In the months that followed Jamie Bochert made various walks for top designers including Missoni, Diana von Furstenberg, Roberto Cavalli, Viktor & Rolf, Pucci, Jean Paul Gaultier, Givenchy and Christian Lacroix.
Jamie Bochert starred in the documentary Models: The Real Skinny in 2003. In 2004 despite her success she withdrew from the runway so that she could focus on music.
