Iris Strubegger

Iris Strubegger is known for her runway work for Louis Vuitton, Calvin Klein, Dries van Noten and many other well-known fashion designers. The Austrian model is also recognized for being the face of Giorgio Armani, Valentino and Givenchy fashion collations as well as being the cover for the Italian, Spanish, French, German and Japanese Vogue versions.

It took two attempts for Iris Strubegger to get her modeling career going. The first try was when she was 17 years old. Iris travelled to New York as a foreign exchange student program and was discovered whilst she was walking the streets.

In 2003 she walked for Calvin Klein’s Spring runway show, after this she was then booked for some ad campaigns and was the face of Armani Collezioni by Giorgio Armani. However, even though she had success she decided to quit modeling in 2003.

In 2007 though, Iris Strubegger made the decision to return to modeling. She then walked for Dries van Noten and Valentino. During the 2009 spring fashion week, she was on the runway 70 times. The year after she walked on 80 runways, which included shows for Alexander McQueen, Dolce & Gabbana and Sonia Rykiel.

When Iris Strubegger is not on the runway she likes to spend her time in her home country and loves to draw, listen to music, mountain bike, jog and ski.
