Ilvie Wittek

Ilvie Wittek is an Austrian model from Hollabrun, Austria. Wittek is known for several print campaigns and runway shows, as well as winning the Vienna Fashion Award in 2012.

Modeling Career

Wittek was discovered at the age of 15, in the subway in Vienna. Her career began with a bang. In 2009 she appeared in print campaigns for Charlotte Ronson and Abercrombie & Fitch, and was in a British Vogue editorial. In 2010 Wittek hit the international modeling stage with shows for Marc Jacobs, Topshop, Prada, Marni, Alberta Ferretti, Louis Vuitton, Monique Lhuillier, Jason Wu and Giles.

In addition to her runway work, Wittek has appeared on the covers of multiple editions of the Austrian DIVA magazine, Wiener (an Austrian men’s magazine), Maxima, Amica and Italian D, as well as in editorials for British Vogue and L’Autre.

A personal modeling goal of Wittek’s is to do a campaign for Chanel.

She is signed with Wiener Models in Austria.

Personal Life

Wittek keeps apartments in New York, London and Paris, but spends very little time in her home town of Hollabrunn, Austria. Despite being a model in popular demand, Wittek keeps a down to earth profile, preferring to shower and sleep rather than attend wild parties, and wanting to be thought of as the girl next door in running shoes, instead of high heels. She does not follow a strict diet, and would rather enjoy a piece of chocolate than deny herself the pleasure, stating: “if you don’t like it, then don’t book me.”
