Evelina Mambetova is a Ukranian model with Crimean Tatar descent. She was born in 1991. Born in Kiev in Ukraine, Evelina was part of a family of well-known fashion designers and businessmen.
In 2008, she signed on with Supreme Management at the age of 17. In September of the same year, she marked her debut for the New York spring fashion week - walking the runway for Marc Jacobs and Philip Lim. She has also appeared on the runway for Richard Chai, Vera Wang and Jeremy Laing. She was also featured as a rising star in Women’s Wear Daily. She has walked for Moschino Cheap & Chic, Issey Miyaki and Sonia Rykiel.
She has also appeared on the runway for brands like Sportmax, Sonia Rykiel, Yomamoto and Yohji in Paris and Milan in 2008. In the latter half of 2009, she was photographed for Numero by famous photographers Mauro Mongiello and Sofia Sanchez. She was also featured in Amica magazine in Italy and was photographed by Stefano Moro. In February 2009, she appeared in Teen Vogue edition and was photographed by famous cameraman Thomas Schenk. She also participated on the runway for a show by Eley Kishimoto. She has appeared in an advertising campaign for MAC’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection.
Her agencies include MC2 Model Management in New York, Women Management in Paris and Bravo Models in Tokyo. In March 2009, Evelina appeared in V Magazine and the Vogue Italian edition, where she was photographed by Craig McDean. In Septermber 2009, she was featured in the magazine Dazed & Confused. She has also appeared on the catwalk for Nanette Lepore, Phillip Lim and Alexandre Herchcovitch in New York City. In October 2009, she graced Harper’s Bazaar magazine. In 2010, she moved to New York models and in 2012, she was a part of Vivienne Westwood.
