Born in New York City on July 26th 1983 Elettra Wiedemann is much more than just a fashion model. Her mother Isabella Rossellini a famous model and actress and her father Jonathan Wiedemann a design manager at Microsoft and former fashion model as well, she was destined to also find her way into the business. She wears many hats, aside from a fashion model she is also a food blogger creating and running a ongoing blog series called impatient foodie. She also has a charity she started called “One Fricken Day” which helps to fund special charity events worldwide. While these days her focus has shifted more to her blog and charity events. She also competes in Iron man competitions and triathlons as well as writing for publications such as Teen Vogue, Vice, SELF, Paper magazine and Cherry Bombe. She is Represented by Next New York in New York City, IMG in Paris, Next Milan in Milan, Next London in London, View Management in Barcelona, Next L.A. in L.A. and Next Miami in Miami. She stands 5ft 11in tall with brown hair and brown eyes. In recent years she has also been responsible for a number of pop up restaurants that have popped up near fashion events all over the united states where she serves guests for the few days the fashion events are going on and than close within five days. The lists to get in are very coveted and often hard to get on. Most of these pop ups feature different chefs for each day of the week. She attended high school at United nations international school where she learned french as a second language. Later she attended college at “The New School” where she obtained a Bachelors of arts in Internal Relations, Later attending London school of Economics where she received a masters degree in Biomedicine. She has been the face of many different designers and companies including but not limited to Ferragamo, Bill Blass and Lancome. She also spent two years in Milan becoming a fluent italian speaker in her time there. As a child she suffered from severe scoliosis which forced her into a back brace for 23 hours a day from the age of 12 to 17. On top of the many other things she currently has going on she also hosts a cooking web series on vogues youtube channel called “Elettra’s Goodness”. In her more than ten years in the modeling industry she has had the privilege in working with many top photographers such as Annie Leibovitz,Mario Testino, Mikale Janssen, Nick Knight, Craig McDean and many others. For someone with so many things going on she still takes the time to give back and keep herself humble.
