Model Egle Tvirbutaite was born in the year 1989 in Lithuania. Egle was discovered in her home country by her manager Alfonso in 2003 when she was just sixteen. Her first walk on the runway was for Dolce & Gabbana and Emporio Arman in Millan in September of 2005, and from then forward Egle has become increasingly sought after by designers looking for a unique and gorgeous model to showcase their apparel. She currently lives in New York, New York where her agency ,Next, is located at. Egle’s most known, recognized feature is her full, perfect perfect lips. Her favorite hobbies are traveling and painting, and she can be found doing both regularly when she is not busy with her career. After being discovered in 2005, Egle’s career took off in the modeling world and has only been gaining momentum since then, setting her well on the way to becoming a supermodel.

Egle’s second walk on the runway happened in September of 2007, when she got the privilege to close for the spring Patrik Rzekski show in New York. Her first big breakthrough as model, however, took place in October of 2007 when she walked the spring Christian Dior, Louis Vuttion, and Nina Ricci shows in Paris—all of which gained her massive recognition from within the industry. Soon after her huge success on the runway for the spring, a website called V.com had ranked Egle as the sixth top model for spring 2008. Soon afterwards, she was walking again in 2008 of January for Armani Prive, Christian Dior, and Givenchy couture in Paris. In September of that year she walked the spring Etro, Alexander McQueen, Christian Lacroix, Louis Vuitton, Rue du Mail, and Sonia Rykiel shows in Milan and Paris. In February of 2010 she walks the fall Max Azria, Dolce & Gabbana, Maison Martin Marigela, Nina Ricci, and Sonia Rykiel shows in New York, Milan, and Paris. Her last walk of 2010 consisted of closing for the spring Nanette Lepore in New York but she also walks for Dolce & Gabbana and Maison Martin Margiela.

Egle Tvirbutaite has walked on the runway for many famous designers but she also was featured in numerous fashion magazines. Her time in editorials, however, did not start out with the same splash as her appearances on the runway. She really started off quite small when she landed on the cover the Italian fashion magazine D in February and April of 2006. Soon after that, however, she got to be in more of the Italian fashion magazines the following year, such as an editorial for Vogue and Marie Claire. She even land on the cover of Amica magazine. At the end of 2007, Egle appeared on the cover of Wonderland and in an editorial for Nylon, entitled “A Day in the Life”. The photographer Fabien Baron of French Vogue photographed her for the French Connection spring ad campaign for the year 2008 after some success she had on the runway in 2007. Egle then had the honor of becoming the new face of GF Ferre when she was photographed by David Sims. She also got to be featured in the W along with model Taryn Davidson. In 2009 she was the German Vogue twice for an editorial and each time photographed by Thomas Schenk. In the summer of 2009 she appears in editorials for the Chinese Vogue , Italian Flair, and Elle. Her last magazine shoot was for 2010 was with Nicolas Moore for the Spanish Vogue. In 2010 she does her first ad campaign DKNY which is photographed by Nathaniel Goldberg. In October of 2011 she appeared in the Interview editorial and was photographed by Robbie Fimmano. Though Egle’s career has been much more silent as of late, high profile appearances she has done in the past continue to make her a recognized and sought after model within the fashion industry.
