Diana Farkhullina Bio

Russian model Diana Farkhullina was born in 1992 in Kazan, Russia. In May 2007, at just fifteen years old, Diana signed with the modeling agency DNA Management in New York as well as Viva Management in Paris. Just two months later, Diana Farkhullina was featured on Hintmag.com in their “model Mania” section as a rising star. Despite this spurt of success, Diana would not go on to stay with her orginal two modeling agencies for very long. Before she ever walked a show, Diana left both DNA and Viva, going on to sign with IMG. Shortly after being photographed by Chadwick Tyler as part of a personal project he was working on, Diana made her modeling debut New York, New York. Though it was late in coming, it was a debut that was widely acclaimed within the industry and one that Diana used to finally launch a successful career as a model.

In December of 2007, Diana Farkhullina debuted by walking in the pre-fall Valentino show in New York. In January of 2008, Diana opened and closed the pre-fall Nina Ricci show in New York and walked the spring Chanel and Givenchy couture shows in Paris. One month later, Diana walked the Calvin Klein show as an exclusive. This turned out to be the first of several appearances for Dianna in the Calvin Klein show, as she went on to walk in it a total of three more times over the course of her young career. Along with this, Diana Farkhullina has also walked in Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander McQueen, and Chloé shows in New York, Milan, and Paris, as well as walking for D&G, Jil Sander, Missoni, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, and Christian Dior.

Other professional accomplishments of this young Russian model include being photographed for the D&G 2010 ad campaign and the DKNY 2009 ad campaign. In 2009, Dianna also became one of the faces of Balenciaga, along with models Elsa Sylvan and Amanda Laine. Diana, however, has made very few appearances as of late, both on the runway and in editorials, making the future of this model somewhat of a question, and many are interested to see what Diana will do with the rest of her still relatively young career.
