Taiwanese male model David Chiang was born December 22, 1988 but was raised in Vancouver, Canada after living eleven years in Taiwan. He was discovered at age sixteen, but decided to continue on with school till he graduated from college at twenty-one in 2009. Part of his reason for deciding to stay in school was the advice that he received from those close to him. His mother told him that the life of a model is difficult and that he should be wary if he decided pursue that path. Finally, after he completed his education, David did pursue the path of a model, and, so far, however, has been a huge success ever since he debuted in 2010 for the fall Alexander McQueen show in Millan. He also walked for Rick Owens and Paul Smith while he was there too. His mother was extremely happy for him and always tries to keep up with him and his modeling career in China. In fact, David’s entire family is said to have been very supportive and helpful throughout his entire modeling career. David currently is known for his long black hair and his androgynous looks. He lives in New York, New York, and his interests include learning about history, going to museums, watching Family Guy and listening to Michael Jackson. David has been on the runway since 2009 till today, and has been quite successful at every point in his career. At first he was only modeling in Canada until he switched agencies to work for Major Model Management, allowing him to become a much more international presence in the modeling scene. He took a break in his career in July 2009 where he skipped fashion week, but ever since then has been quite active. Shortly after this brief break, he came back to the runway to walk for Dior Homme’s as an exclusive for the fall 2011 show. He also participated in the fall fashion week in New York where he got to walk for Diesel, Richard Chai and rag & bone and many others. Recently, he walked for Nina Athanasiou, Darkoh, Malan Breton, and this year he walked for Pyer Moss fall and winter men’s show. David Chiang has also been in many magazines during his career.

This male model has been in over sixteen different fashion magazines all over the world for editorials.
