Dagmara Ziober, better known as Daga, was born in Bratislava Slovakia on 16th September 1994 and has become known for her legs and amazing cheekbones with blue eyes and light brown hair. Daga decided to be a model due to her love of fashion with Chanel being her favourite designer. Her own clothes style is casual and as a model she gets to wear some incredible designer clothes. Her tip for any upcoming model is to ‘be yourself’ and she loves family, travelling, except by plane, and fashion.
Daga’s favourite movie is Dirty Dancing and she has too many favourite books to mention them all here. On entering the fashion scene in 2009, her dream was to be on the cover of Italian and French Vogue. Away from the catwalk she likes spending time with friends and family and listening to music.
Daga has an envious modelling career wearing clothes by Valentino, Prada, Versace, Calvin Klein, Thierry Mugler, Nina Ricci, Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent and many others designer names. Photographed for several editorials she has appeared in many fashion magazines such as Viva Moda, Elle in Japan, Spur and Madame Figaro. At present, she is signed with Elite Model Management in Paris and Milan and ModelPlus Warsaw.
In 2009, Daga models for Burberry in 2010 in the Burberry Black Label Book and then makes her catwalk debut at the spring Valentino Show in Paris in 2011.
2011 was a busy year with shows in New York for Calvin Klein, fall shows for Prada, Versace, Yves Saint Laurent, Jil Sander, Miu Miu, Celine and Dries van Noten. This was followed by shows in Milan and Paris for Valentino. Photographed by Kacper Kasprzyk, she did her first editorial spread for Dazed and Confused in August 2011.
After the editorial, Daga opens the spring shows in Milan and New York for Emilio Pucci, DKNY and Doo.Ri. She then closes the shows for Dries van Noten and Emilio Pucci. Another editorial for Dazed and Confused, photographed by Charles Freger in November.
In January 2012, Daga is photographed by Sebastian Kim for the German version of Vogue Magazine and then appears in the ad campaign for Akris spring fashion. Daga is again photographed by Kacper Kasprzyk for the V spring issue. A photo spread for Japanese Vogue follows by photographer Mikael Jansson.
Editorials featuring Daga Ziober appeared in LUXURE, TAR magazine, Japanese and German Vogue, T-Style and i-D during 2012. A busy year followed with many fashion shows in Milan, Paris, London and New York where Daga wore creations by rag and bone, Dolce and Gabbana, Fendy Tommy Hilfiger, Oscar de la Renta and many more famous designers’ clothes.
In 2013 shows for 3.1 Phillip Lim and Vera Wang were followed by editorials in Japanese and Russian Vogue and Miss Vogue Australia. Catalogues for the spring/summer fashion for Emporio Armani were followed by the Autumn/Winter catalogue for Versus.
More editorials followed in 2014 in French Revue de Modes, Interview Russia and Japanese Vogue. Daga appeared in several more shows for Byblos, Angelo Marani, Giorgio Armani, Cavalli, Dries van Noten, Haider Ackerman, Maxime Simoens, Givenchy and Ann Demeulemeester.
2015 will be a busy year with shows for Claudia Li and Monique Lhuillier, Calvin Klein and Herve Leger and editorials for Amica, Elle Sweden, Chinese Harper’s Bazaar and Numero.
