Chen Lin
Chen Lin is a Chinese model. She is originally from Guangzhou and has worked extensively in Hong Kong. She is 5’10”, has brown hair and brown eyes. Chen Lin knew she wanted to be a model while she was still and an accounting student and has worked hard to achieve her goals of climbing up the fashion ladder. “I saved my pocket money so I could take modeling courses. I started freelancing while in university, and turned full-time after graduation,” said Lin.
In September 2011, she appeared in two editorials in ‘Elle’ (Hong Kong) entitled “Gender-Neutral” and “Reflected Glory”. In October 2012, Chen Lin appeared on the cover of ‘En Vie’ magazine. Chen Lin modeled Vivienne Westwood’s Autumn/Winter 2012 Ready to Wear Collection. In March 2013, Chen Lin appeared on the cover of Hong Kong magazine ‘Jessica’. In 2013, Chen Lin also modeled the ‘Diesel’ Spring/Summer collection.
Chen Lin has worked in Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan. In January 2014 she walked in New York fashion week. She appeared in 14 shows throughout fashion week and was among the top three standout Chinese models. While there, she was under the wing of IMG Models, the agency that also manages Gisele, Kate Upton, Du Juan and Fei Pei. She also made her debut on the runways of Paris and London for their Spring/Summer 2015 fashion weeks.
In October 2014, she appeared in an editorial entitled “After Party” in ‘Elle’ (Italy).
Chen also paraded in 9 shows throughout New York Fashion Week, Spring/Summer 2015.
Had she not become a model Chen Lin would have became an accountant.
