Charlotte Hoyer
Charlotte Hoyer was born in Herning, Denmark in 1990, and her most appreciated attributes are her eyes and her hair. She was discovered by a modeling scout while on a school trip in 2008. Her first agency was 2 pm Copenhagen, but she signed with IMG in New York later that year.
Runways Here I Come
Charlotte was only 16 when she was unveiled for the Calvin Klein show in New York as an exclusive. She went on to walk 13 more shows by early 2009, proving she had what it took to be a success. The entire two years were peppered with editorials like Cover, Japanese Numéro. Russian Vogue and Models.com named Hoyer as one of the top ten new models. Ad campaigns such as the DKNY and Westwood accessories expanded her winning resume.
By the year 2014, she had done a total of 36 runway shows, 20 of those in 2014. Ad campaigns included 3 in 2009 and 3 more in 2010. The only Look Book noted was for TSE F/w. The attraction persists, as is demonstrated by additional editorials such as Elle Denmark in 2014, as well as Euro woman, called the Impression.
Her Personal Thoughts
When she describes her moment of discovery it seems almost tongue in cheek. She stated she was on a school trip, hadn’t slept and was wearing two sets of clothes. One was her sweat suit covered with her winter jacket that was covered again with her mother’s raincoat, thus she gives full props to the scout that spotted her potential.
