Chad White was born in Portland Oregon in 1985 and aspired to play professional baseball. He had that opportunity but declined due to a hand injury. Without a second career in mind, his friend convinced him to try modeling. He is glad he did.
Chad signed on with Major management in 2005 and moved to New York. In 2006, he was in Bebe’s Spring ad campaign that was closely followed by an editorial in GQ. Steven Klein photographed both events. The experienced photographer must have recognised his potential because he chose Chad White for a forty-page editorial and put him on the cover of L’Uomo. This gave Chad the career exposure every new model needs. He states, looking back he was too young to appreciate the significance of this editorial at the time.
He walked for Dolce and Gabbana in Milan and Perry Ellis in New York in 2007. This year included numerous magazine editorials such as Diesel, V Man, Dazed and Confused and Out, where he was featured on the cover. He was in several catalogs as well, Luis Vuitton and American Eagle for example.
He opened 2008, with a catwalk for Baby PhAtAnd Perry Ellis in New York, was on the cover of Attitudes magazine and featured in L’OfficielHommes. He was in TETU magazine for an in-depth editorial and published in the Gant Catalog in 2009. Hugo Boss Green tagged him for their face in 2010.
Chad White continues to be high on the list of favourites for editorial magazine covers like Joop and Out. His appeal for advertising campaigns is soaring, representing The Helm, Daman Style, Michael Bastian and Atlantic in 2014 and 2015. The list goes on forever, and the demand for his attention just doesn’t seem to end.
Chad is with more than a few model management companies- Soul Artist Management in New York, Supa in London, MGM in Paris and 2pm Model Management in Copenhagen for a few.
