+Carolina Pantoliano also known as Carol Pantoliano was born March 24, 1990 in São Paulo Brazil but is actually of Italian descent. Her dark brown hair, green eyes and perfect size 6 caught the attention of a scout for the supreme modeling agency in 2006.
 +
+She moved to New York in 2007 with a friend and co-worker DaianeConterato- one day before model castings were to begin. The same year she won an opening spot for well-known designers, Christopher Kane, and Dries Van Noten in their New York and Paris fall runway shows. She also closed a show for Marc Jacobs in London for his fall collection. Followed by Vera Wang's Bridal show in Paris. Opening and closing positions are powerful in runway shows and are pursued by models all over the world.
 +
+The year of 2007 was huge for Carolinas career. She was publicized as an up and coming star by Style.com and named one of the top ten models by V magazine. She was the main subject of numerous editorials such as I-D magazine, L'Officiel Brazil and in Harper's Bazaar twice. Ad campaigns were another contribution to her popularity-like when modeling for Louis Vuitton's look book and Acne Jeans advertisements. She also did a catalog for Osklen a Brazilian based fashion shop.  Towards the end of 2007 she opened a spring runway for Brian Reyes and closed for Rebecca Taylor in New York. Her stunning first year's finale was walking the runway in 5 more shows in Paris and Milan one of those being Prada.
 +
+Carolina was managed by several different agencies including Blue Models, Supreme, Premier Model Management, Women Management of Milan, Women Management in Paris, and Monica Monteiro. Her success is credited not to the classic fashion beauty some expect but because of her unusual features, specifically her eyebrows and her crooked nose.
+The following year was not a disappointing either. Carolina walked in 5 shows in Milan and Paris, closed for Rebecca Taylor and was editorialized by Vogue Italia and 10 magazines. The Brazilian magazine L'Officiel had her appear on the cover.
 +
+Carolina disappeared from the fashion model scene after the 2008-2009 seasons with a few exceptions of single parades. Eventually, the fashion world learned that she had returned to São Paulo to complete her education at a private school. She chose to attend Santo Antonio de Lisboa for physical education.
 +
+The year of 2010 was to be her comeback in the fashion industry.  She appeared on the cover of U magazine as well as the new digital U magazine with an editorial titled "Protect Me From What I Want". She was booked for nearly all of the SPFW parades by January 2010 and in Paris fashion show 2010. Davidelfin runway in spring of 2010 featured Carolina walking and in 2013 there was word that she was back in full swing. However, since that time no further editorials or credits are noted- not even in magazines from her homeland of Brazil.
