Carola Remer is a rising star in the fashion world. She suddenly became a model and didn't stop since. She was born on October 4, 1991, in Gutersloh, Germany. Her most distinctive features are her cheekbones and her eyes. This German model stands at five feet and ten inches tall and she aspires to a career in film as well.
Carola Remer had no thoughts whatsoever about becoming a model. She was actually in med school, about to finish a semester, when one of her cousins interacted with a model scout and sent her pictures to an agency that offered her a contract immediately. She is now affiliated with One Management in New York, Photogenes in Los Angeles, Oui Management in Paris, Premier Model Management in London, Why Not Models in Milan and Traffic Models in Barcelona and Madrid. Remer accepted to become a model because she really wanted to travel.
Carola Remer was discovered in 2008 and signed with Fusion Models in 2009. She changes agencies a few times, such as in 2010 when she leaves Fusion Models and signs with One Management. Her appearances consist mostly in editorials and ad campaigns. 2011 is a very busy year for Remer. She collaborates with photographer Daniel Jackson for two Chinese Vogue editorials and the spring issue of Self Service. In September, she walks for Sophie Theallet and VPL shows in New York. German, Spanish, Italian and Japanese Vogue all publish her pictures in their editorials. She works with different photographers almost every time among which is Raymond Meier, Sean and Seng and Mario Sorrenti. 2012 brings her appearances in other magazines, such as Brazilian and Turkish Vogue and Muse. She also models Barney's new lingerie styles later on. As for her career in acting, Carola Remer had a small part in a short movie called “All In”, released in 2012.
Carola Remer was going to be a doctor, but the idea of seeing the world seemed much better when her cousin sent her pictures to a modeling agency. She was especially excited about a photo shoot that took place in the Caribbean's. She calls herself a perfectionist and thinks she is making her work harder just because of that.
