Carla Bruni is a model, a singer, an actress and the wife of the former French president, Nicolas Sarkozy. Her full name is Carla Gilberta Bruni Tedeschi and she was born in Turin, Piedmont, Italy on December 23, 1967. She was among the best-paid supermodels before she dedicated herself to a career in music.
Carla Bruni comes from a wealthy family, but this aspect didn't help her in becoming a model. She actually quit the University of Paris to pursue her career in modeling.
