Betty Adewole was considered the new Naomi Campbell in 2014 by Telegraph. At the time she was 21 and walking for the London Fashion Week, particularly for Chloe's spring/summer line. The same month as the fashion show was also her editorial debut in Vogue Britain. She also became the face of Tom Ford, for his cosmetic line.
Betty didn't have a posh upbringing. When she was 11 she and her family were evicted from their flat in London. The next two years were spent living in hostels, where she found the conditions actually better than her flat, but not much on privacy. At 15 she was scouted while on Tottenham Court Road. Despite being scouted at an early age it has taken awhile for media and brands to recognize her talents. She is definitely looking to make certain everyone knows she is her own person and capable of the modeling career she has chosen.
Betty Adewole is known for her editorial and runway work through the IMG Modeling agency in Paris. She has photographs in Flair, The Edit, Vogue Russia and UK publications. She also posed for Bon, Double Magazine, Stylist Magazine, and Wonderland while under the IMG NYC name. On the runway she is known to walk for Ashish and Lucas Nascimento. Besides the aforementioned brands she has also worn Creatures of the Wind, Naeem Kahn, Opening Ceremony, Public School, Ralph Rucci, Tome and Wes Gorden. While working for IMG Models she has been photographed by Josh Olins, Paola Kudacki, and Victor Demarchelier. Other photographers, Betty posed for include Andrea Spotorno, Johan Sandberg, Jonty Davies, and Kerry Hallihan.
Betty Adewole is signed with IMG Paris, Milan, and London as well as Iconic Management Berlin. She works mostly out of the IMG London office, as it is her mother agency.
