Bette Franke

The incredibly beautiful and alluring Dutch model, Bette Franke, was born on 3rd December, 1989, in Heemskerk, North Holland. She is popular for her juicy lips, angelic blue eyes and mesmerizing smile that has taken the fashion industry by storm. Her career in the modeling industry began at age 14, when she was discovered by Wilma Walker in Amsterdam while shopping with her mother for ponies and hairclips. A year after being discovered, she made her first appearance on papers and magazines through her Elle Girl Editorial. In 2005, she made her debut as a runway model at the Fall Jil Sander Show in Milan and immediately gained a following because of her innocent looks and beautiful smile. A few months later, she walked the Emanuel Ungaro and Hermes shows in Paris and opened and closed the spring Jil Sander Show in Milan. By the end of 2005, she was named “This Year’s Model” by WWD. In 2006, she signed a deal with Stella McCartney and Yves Saint Laurent and opened the fall Alessandro Dell’Acqua and Costello Tagliapietra shows in Paris, New York and Milan. She also closed the fall Rochas Show in Paris and was featured in Style.com as a rising star. A few months later, she appeared in a Dolce & Gabbana ad campaign (Photographed by Steven Meisel) and modeled for the Hermes Fall Catalog. Additionally, she also become the sole face of Oscar de la Renta’s fall ad campaign, appeared in Hugo Boss and Calvin Klein ad campaigns, and featured in French Vogue Editorial, alongside Han Jin and Jessica Stam. In 2007, she became the face of Blumarine, appeared in a Celine Fall Campaign, Stella McCartney’s organic skin care campaign, and featured in Italian Vogue Editorial. Not to mention, she also walked the spring Stella McCartney, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, and Hermes shows in Paris. A year later, she walked the fall Salvatore Ferragamo, Prada, and Etro shows in Paris and Milan and landed on the covers of French Elle, Avantgarde, and Italian Flair Magazines. By the end of 2008, she even walked the Miu Miu, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Narciso Rodriguez, Michael Kors, and Derek Lam shows in Paris, New York and Milan. In 2009, she opened the fall Jenny Packham and Eric Fetherson shows in New York and London and appeared in numerous editorials including Harper’s Bazaar, Japanese Vogue, British Vogue, Italian Marie Claire, and Italian Flair. She also walked the Anne Valerie Hash, Matthew Williamson, Zac Posen, and DKNY shows in London, Paris, and New York. A year later, she featured on the cover of Marie Claire and opened the spring Valentino, Akris, Barbara Bui, and Antonio Berardi shows in Paris and London. In 2012, she appeared in British Vogue and Spanish Vogue editorials and made an appearance in Hermes and Valentino spring ad campaigns. A year later, she landed on the covers of Harper’s Bazaar Spain, W Korea, H&M F/W, Vogue Turkey, Harper’s Bazaar Australia, Vogue Japan, Vogue Netherlands, and Vogue Brasil. In 2014, she managed to do a total of 15 shows, 3 editorials, 2 magazine covers, and 10 advertising campaigns. This year, her latest appearance was on the Rika Magazine S/S 15. But, so far she hasn’t participated in any new shows, editorials, or advertising campaigns.
