Bastiaan Ninaber

A familiar face on the runway, Bastiaan Ninaber, was born on December 24th, 1989, in Netherlands. He began his modeling career at a young age and is a rising star, mainly popular for his abs, hair and lips. Even though Bastiaan was only 18 when he started modeling, he still managed to become one of the most popular models in New York and the Netherlands. His modeling career began in 2007, when he signed a deal with VNY Model Management in New York. That same year, he made a huge breakthrough in his career and became the face of Dior Homme, which is of course a huge accomplishment for an 18-year old. In 2008, he featured on the Fall Issue of AnOther Man (Photographed by KT Auleta), thus allowing him to reach new heights. The same year, he appeared in the Fall Issue of Arena Homme (as a tribute to Martin Margiela). The photography was done by Willy Vandeperre, who thought Bastiaan was an aspiring individual. In 2009, Bastiaan signed a deal with GQ and appeared in editorials for the Italian GQ and British GQ. Not to mention, he featured in Arena Homme once again and the V Man (Photographed by Willy Vandeperre). Additionally, Bastiaan featured in the spring issue of Fantastic Man, alongside Clement Chabernaud. Following the success of the spring issue, Bastiaan’s career took off as he featured in Numero Homme (Photographed by Phil Poynter), became the face of Cerruti and closed the spring Junya Watanabe show in Paris. At the end of 2009, Bastiaan walked the Dries Van Noten, Hugo Boss, Salvatore Ferrgamo, Prada, and Roberto Cavalli shows and modeled for the Barney’s New York catalogue. Therefore, Bastiaan soon became a recognized face in most of the leading modeling agencies and their shows, editorials, magazines and advertising campaigns. In fact, in September 2009, he also walked the Spring Y-3, Tommy Hilfiger, and Yigal Arzouel shows in New York, appeared in BlackBook Editorial (Photographed by Darren Keith), the spring issue (Photographed by Josh Olins) of Numero Homme and featured on the fall cover of L’Officiel Hommes (Photographed by Milan Vukmirovic). In January 2010, Bastiaan Ninaber renewed his contract with Cerruti and walked the Alexander McQueen, Versace, Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Burberry shows in Milan and the Hermes, Viktor & Rolf, Dries Van Noten, and Louis Vuitton shows in Paris. Not to mention, he appeared in the Chinese L’Officiel Editorial (Photographed by Milan Vukmirovic). In February of the same year, Bastiaan appeared in the spring issue of DANSK (Photographed by Joachim Mueller Ruchholtz) and walked the Tommy Hilfiger, Thom Browne, Perry Ellis, Lacoste, and Robert Geller shows in New York. In 2011, Bastiaan walked the Louis Vuitton, Kenzo, and Gucci shows in Paris and Milan and participated in the Aquascutum advertising campaign in 2012. In 2013, he appeared in the Editorials of the GQ Germany and Various Editorials for the “Architect of LUEL Magazine” and “Business Mode by Schmidt & Gorges”. His last activity was in the L’Officiel Hommes Italia Editorial of 2014 Fall/Winter.
