Born in California, United States on December 27th 1993, Athena Wilson is an American fashion model known for her edgy androgynous looks and striking eyes. Wilson measures 5’11’’ in height, has brown hair, green eyes and has measurements of 32 bust, 24.5 waist and 35 hips with a size 8 shoe and size 4 dress.
Wilson grew on Long Beach in California was much more of sporty tomboy than an aspiring model. In fact, her first foray in to the world of modeling came through the need to make some quick money in order to purchase a bicycle that she wanted. After completing this quick job for $100 at a Los Angeles airport, Wilson happened to catch the eye of a talent scout representing the Ford Agency and the model was quickly signed and made her way to New York City to begin her career.
In September of 2012, Wilson made her debut on runway when she walked in spring shows in both New York and Milan for a number of high profile designers and brands including Marni, Marc Jacobs and Emporio Armani. The follow January, Wilson began to be featured in the print side of the industry when she became the subject of an editorial in Dazed & Confused magazine shot by Collier Schorr.
As well as work on the catwalk and in issues of publications, Wilson has also been a featured model in a spring ad campaign for Louis Vuitton that was released in January 2013. She has also appeared in an editorial for British Vogue in a feature shot by Alasdair McLellan.
2013 overall was a good year for Wilson on the runway, as her tall, androgynous look made her popular choice with many houses and resulted in walking engagements in New York, London and Paris for Roland Mouret, John Galliano, Mulberry, Lacoste and Matthew Williamson.
