+Born in Antwerp, Belgium on February 14th 1979, Anouck Lepere is a Belgian fashion model who works both in print and on the runway. Originally a student of architecture in Antwerp [1], Lepere embarked on a career in modeling almost by chance when persuaded to try her hand by friends at the time. Lepere is 5’8.5’’ tall, has brown hair, blue eyes and measures 32.5 bust, 25 waist and 32 hips with a size 7.5 and size 4 dress.

+Lepere made her modeling debut in 1999 when she was hired to walk for friend Dries Van Noten’s show in Paris. This first dip in the modeling pool proved successful and just a year later, Lepere relocated to New York City to begin a fully-fledged career in the industry. A number of high profile jobs came quickly for Lepere, and within the first year after relocation she had booked both her first cover for SOMA and the cover of Italian Marie Claire magazine. 2001 proved to be an incredibly fruitful year for the still relatively new to the scene model, with the signing of a contract with Hugo Boss to be the face of their new Deep Red fragrance, as well as becoming the face of Louis Vuitton and Missoni and furthering her print presence with a cover of Nylon and editorials within Italian Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. Lepere ended 2001 with a number of runway engagements including closing Christian Lacroix’s Spring Paris show in October and appearing in Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in November. [2]

+Throughout her career, Lepere has been a consistent favorite with many of the industry’s most prominent fashion photographers including Mario Testino, Michael Thompson, Steven Meisel, Craig McDean Nick Knight, Paolo Roversi and Greg Kadel. The model’s print credentials rival the best, having graced the covers of all major magazines including Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue (British, American, German, Japanese, French and Italian), Marie Claire, Dazed and Confused, i-D and even a feature in French Playboy. Lepere’s major advertising campaigns have included starring appearances for Escada, Valentino, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Tiffany & Co., Tommy Hilfiger, DKNY and H&M, as well as a further fragrance contract, this time for Chanel’s Coco.
 +
+In terms of interests outside of modeling, Lepere has designed a number of ranges of jewelry including a line that caters for females with un-pierced ears. This particular line enjoyed some wide public awareness and promotion and has been worn by many high profile celebrities including Christina Ricci, Alicia Keys and Janet Jackson. Lepere’s most recent project has been collaboration for Collete with Gaia Repossi. Also a great philanthropist, Lepere is passionately involved with a non-profit organization called Kageno, which works to fund and build sustainable communities in the African country of Rwanda. [3]
