Zanovello grew up in a small Italian town near Verona, where she lived with her parents and sister. Zanovello is also academically minded and worked to complete her engineering degree while modeling.
Anna Zanovello was discovered at in 2010 at a beauty competition where she was supporting a friend. She was approached by a modeling scout, but initially declined his offer because she was tied up with school and ballet commitments. She eventually relented, and has been modeling since.
Zanovello’s first big break came when Joseph Altuzarra opened his spring 2012 collection with Zanovello. She has since walked for Donna Karan, Dolce & Gabbana, MaxMara, and Theyskens’ Theory. She has also appeared on the cover of Air France’s Madame, and Elle Mexico. Zanovello has also appeared in editorials in Elle Mexico, and Lula Magazine.

Zanovello says she does watch what she eats, but within reason. She doesn’t eat as much pasta or pizza, eating more fresh vegetables and lean meat instead. She does however start her day with something sweet. She makes a point of exercising daily, and continuing to practice ballet.
