Anna Selezneva

Anna Selezneva is a Russian model, born in 1990. She is best known for her multiple Vogue magazine covers, as well as campaigns for Calvin Klein Collection, Versace and Emporio Armani.

Modeling Career

Selezneva was discovered at 17 at a McDonald’s restaurant. She signed with Silent Models in Paris in 2007, and debuted at the spring fashion shows. By the end of 2007 she had already appeared on the cover of Italian Vogue Giolello.

Since then she has appeared on the covers of a large number of international Vogue magazines, including Russian Vogue, French Vogue, British Vogue, Japanese Vogue, Chinese Vogue and Spanish Vogue, as well as other magazines including, Numero, Allure and Interview.

On the runway Selezneva has walked for Celine, Dries Van Noten, Balmain, Antonio Berardi, Yves Saint Laurent, Stella McCartney, Dior, John Galliano, Karl Lagerfeld, Hermes, and Louis Vuitton. Selesneva’s striking looks have landed her as the face of Calvin Klein for the spring/summer 2009 collection, as well as representing three fragrances: Look by Vera Wang, Aqua Allegoria by Guerlain, and Elle shocking by Yves Saint Laurent.

Personal Life

Although a Muscovite at heart, Selezneva is a busy international model and keeps apartments in New York and Paris, in addition to hers in Moscow. She adores traveling and has said that her dream vacation would be to visit the jungles in Bali.

Throughout her demanding modeling career she has also managed to complete a psychology degree at Moscow State University, and has said that she would like to further her education once her demanding modeling schedule has relaxed.
