 +Anna de Rijk is a Dutch model, and has appeared in multiple international Vogue editorials, and most recently on the covers of Harper’s Bazaar Netherlands (2014) and Harper’s Bazaar Spain (2014).

She has walked in shows for Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, and Ports 1961, and has been in magazine editorials in Harper’s Bazaar Spain, Vogue Mexico, Vogue Thailand, Harper’s Bazaar USA, W and Vogue Italy, among others. De Rijk has also graced the covers of a number of magazines, including Black Magazine, Vogue Netherlands, Marie Claire Italy, Vogue Mexico, Harper’s Bazaar Spain and Harper’s Bazaar Netherlands.

 +De Rijk was discovered at a Christmas party, by a photographer, when she was 16 and advised to send in her information to the Dutch modeling agency, Paparazzi Models. At the time she was working for €2.50 at a local health food shop, and thought that a little extra income from modeling would be useful. De Rijk continued to model on weekends only until she left school at 18, at which point she started to model full-time.

 +De Rijk signed with DNA Management in New York, and Milan based agency, Women Management, in 2006. Later that year she appeared in a German Glamour editorial photographed by David Vasiljevic, as well as appearing in a the summer issue of Elle Accessories and on the cover of Dutch Elle.

 +She debuted on the catwalk at the spring Vivenne Westwood show in Paris in October 2007, as well as alos walking for Veronique Branquinho. In September of the same year she appeared in an Elle editorial.

 +De Rijk’s first real breakthrough in her modeling career came at the fall/winter 2009 London Fashion Week in February, where she walked for Ann Sofie Back, Christopher Kane, Blumarine, and Prada. In March 2009, she walked the fall Dries Van Noten, Kenzo, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, and Miu Miu shows in Paris, and was also featured on Style.com as a rising star. June saw De Rijk opening the resort Prada show in New York. She also appeared in an Italian Vogue editorial shot by Steven Meisel. In July, she walked the fall Chanel and Valentino couture shows in Pars, as well as appearing in editorials for Dazed & Confused and Italian Flair. She rounded out 2009 by becoming one of the faces of Prada, modeling for the Trussardi Jeans fall ad campaign, appearing in an Italian Vogue editorial and opening the spring Burberry show in London, as well as also walking for 3.1 Philip Lim, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Chanel, Givenchy, and Lanvin.

In February, she appeared in a French Vogue editorial, photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, and walked the fall Burberry, Bottega Veneta, Dolce & Gabbana, Nina Ricci, and Chanel shows in London, Milan, and Paris. In March she appeared in a W editorial, photographed by Mario Sorrenti, and in June she walked the Oscar de la Renta, Jason Wu, and Bottega Veneta shows in New York. She appeared in the August 2010 edition of Numero, in an editorial photographed by Yelena Yemchuk, and in September she walked the spring 3.1 Philip Lim, Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti, DKNY, and Halston shows in New York. Towards the end of the year appeared in editorials in Japanese Vogue, Interview and Harper’s Bazaar. Throughout the year in 2010 she also became the face of Christian Dior Jewelry, signed a contract with Chanel cosmetics, and modeled for the fall Sonia Rykiel ad campaign along with Katie Fogarty.
